Timor Lodge

Fine for a night before getting an early flight. 10-15min walk to airport. Room was in the new container block, clean and comfortable but very hot during the night. We left too early for but breakfast but the staff let us use the voucher in the restaurant the previous evening instead.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Priced way too high for quality. Room was absolutely filthy with roaches and worms in the room. Toilet was dirty. All furniture in room was dirty. Housekeeping broke into my room in the morning after 15 seconds of knocking. (Very unsafe for any solo traveler) This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. The restaurant served me inedible food that was dangerous to eat. I’d recommend sleeping in your car before paying to stay here. I’ve stayed in places all over Southeast Asia but this takes the cake for being the worst.

I have visited Dili a number of times before, but this is my first time staying at Timor Lodge and if I visit again this is where I would stay from now on. The place is located close to the airport and walking distance from shops and restaurants including Timor Plaza. The room we stayed in was a comfortable 2 bedroom villa with a kitchen. Some of the furniture is a little old but it was all very clean and tidy. There is a nice swimming pool and a good restaurant on site. The best thing about this place is the helpful staff. They were happy to provide us with additional cooking equipment so that we could prepare our own food and host visitors. Although we perhaps had a lot of requests they were always accommodated and all the staff were always friendly and helpful

The only place that have the best badminton court at nominal rates.

We stayed at on of the villas. It was very spacious for our family and a couple of friends. We enjoyed having a restaurants and pool along with other outdoor activities like gym and gymnasium on campus Villa was serviced daily and they provided dishes and pans we needed to cook our own meals.
