Gratidão Guest House is a small locally run guesthouse in the Costa-Oebau neighbourhood of Pante Macassar, the administrative seat of Oecusse — Timor-Leste's coastal enclave separated from the rest of the country by Indonesian West Timor. Pante Macassar fronts a long calm bay on the Savu Sea and is the landing point for the historic Portuguese arrival in 1515, a heritage commemorated at the nearby Lifau monument. The property sits within walking distance of the seafront and the centre of Pante Macassar, and is one of a handful of guesthouses serving travellers who arrive by overnight ferry from Dili or via the inland border crossing through Indonesia. Rates are in the US$20–50 range per night.
