Dreamers Dive Academy Timor

We could not recommend Dreamers Dive Academy highly enough. This was an amazing experience all round. Kate, Selcio and her team are a highly experienced team that made our dive personal to our individual needs. Kate was comforting, reassuring and able to manage nervous first time divers with that personal touch you hope for. Selcio ensured we got the most out of our experience and they both confidently and happily gave us the experience of a lifetime, with the wanting of more.

Kate of Dreamers Dive was very accommodating and helpful to include me, a snorkeler, on her dive trip in Dili. Went on subsequent days to two varied locations, the first site had mostly soft corals, the second had mostly hard corals. There was an abundance of corals and fish in both sites and No evidence of bleaching. The reef was exuberant and active. Very enjoyable. I was picked up at my hotel and taken to the beach sites. Could walk in and swim, not far, to the reef. Kate was very professional and her team very experienced and enthusiastic.

some of the other bigger shops with fancier websites come up when searching who to dive with in dili but I think this is the best choice. small and friendly with some Timorese employees, they know the area of you wanna dive around dili/TL. hit two spots over half a day and even in rainy season saw some good fish and coral including a dugong! hard to find the place, not good signage but the maps location is correct. highly recommended for a day of diving/snorkeling around the capitol. good communication on WhatsApp and good prices.

this is the only dive shop in the entire country that responses to you properly and support potential customers prior to booking the dives (I texted all). Staffs are supportive, had some shore dives and visited a wreck. Enjoying windy beach with food and drinks were great.

I had an absolutely amazing time with Dreamers Dive Academy. I could not recommend them more. My dive instructor Te Aquila was amazing. She was super professional but at the same time made it super comfertable and personal. The dive sites were amazing. These were 2 of the best dives i’ve ever done. If you are in Dili and want to do a dive, definitely go for Dreamers Dive Academy.
