Excelsior Resort Hotel

5 stars for the incredibly nice manager and free laundry. Clean room and free breakfast. Shower good pressure also.

I have facilitated a meeting here, this was the vendor selected. While the place was nicely organized and everything was provided, the venue and room was nice and spacious, toilets clean, the projection screen was 1:1 and way to small for such a large venue. This was really a shame as I had maps and presenters showcasing data, and this was not very nice...The goats outside munching on the Hibiscus flowers were a plus I suppose...

I have visited Dili a few times annually since 2009 as a self-funded volunteer from Australia. EH is my local home of choice. The rooms are more than adequate and are well-cleaned - as are the public facilities. The location is quite central to Dili and the beach, along with a variety of eateries, is a short walk away. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Its not the Ritz or whatever, but is an easy place to stay for someone like me.

Old hotel but should be improve. Location is not so bad, near Timor Plaza and beach but around hotel is like slum area. Room is need more light and mobile signal inside is so bad, even the hotel wifi isn't working. Maybe need mobile signal antena. Lots of mosquitoes. Bathroom need clean regularly, like the shower glass wall. Bidet hose need to clean. Breakfast is need improvised, sometimes is good sometimes is bad, better buy at outside. But I like those spaghetti and sausages. Other is good, quite room, large and deep swimming pool, love it.

Decent hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms and good wifi. To the centre it takes 45 minutes on foot. They also organize weddings so it might get loud in the evening
