This is my 3rd time to Dili. The hotel is located 15mins walk to the east of the Palace. Rooms are clean with a daily laundry service free of charge. Can not fault the meals, good portion sizea and a amazing flavours. Ive stayed at other major hotels in Dili and the Pro-Ema restaurant has to be the best. Amazing staff at both the restaurant and hotel. A lovely fruit bowl on arrival and daily top up of bottled water. Great place to stay

I am an Australian engaged in volunteer church work. I have visited Dili many times since 2009 and am here several times annually. I have stayed at a variety of local hotels and am mid-range in price. Sunset Inn hits the spot in terms of * Price point * Location (brilliant) * Room quality * Local food options, including the in-house restaurant. * Community benefit: its part of a training outreach to vulnerable women If booking - ask for a room in the new wing.

Outstanding staff. Very helpful. Received daily laundry service which was very nice. Breakfast was cooked to order and tasty. Rooms were clean, and quite basic. Bed was comfortable. Water in shower was minimal (but it worked). It’s simply an old building. Excellent value for money.

Technician Hemlal came to fix the AC and put on the TV. A very friendly person and kept asking if I need anything else. With these kind staff in your hotel we shall keep talking great things about you. If I will every come for vocation, I will come to this hotel 10/10 points.

Visited Sunset In by Pro Ema several times and always enjoyed the wonderful food – it’s consistently a highlight. From 19–22 September, I stayed in the hotel. The room was fine overall, but I had a mixed experience as it needs a bit more maintenance and care. Still, the atmosphere is great, and the food keeps me coming back.
