Spent a really nice couple of nights in Lauhata. The owner Carlos and his team are super friendly and helpful. They made every effort for any question we had. Location is a short drive away from Dili, really a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Rooms great value for money.

My family and I went to Lauhata Beach Scape to witness the solar eclipse on April 20, 2023. The place was packed with people, and there was live music and cocktails to enjoy. The food and drinks were great, and the service was excellent.
I stayed there recently and really enjoyed my time. It truly was a nice escape and not far from Dili. The drive there was pleasant and I like that they provided transport. One less thing for me to figure out. The cost is very reasonable. The room had everything I needed for the night. The grounds were serene and well-kept, and I felt safe and secure there. I enjoyed walking along the coastline and exploring the grounds. The food was great and they offered many options.
Great experience here at an oceanfront location, under an hour from Dili. Subhendu does a great job managing the place.
Lauhata is a perfect place to unwind and simply do nothing - bring a book, play some beach volleyball and watch the beautiful sunset. My partner and I stayed for a night and had a lovely time. The staff are very hospitable and the food was quite excellent. Thank you Carlos and team for the lovely experience.
