Sara Guesthouse (Sara House & Resto) ialah rumah tamu dan restoran kendalian keluarga di tengah pekan Maubisse, pekan pasar pergunungan yang sejuk di tanah tinggi Ainaro, kira-kira 70 km ke selatan Dili, pada ketinggian kira-kira 1,400 m. Ia terletak berhampiran bulatan pasar, dan ruang makan serta teres bumbungnya menghadap ke pekan dan pergunungan.

Terdapat 20 bilik tetamu dalam dua sayap. Sayap lama mempunyai bilik standard dan bilik dengan dapur kecil; sayap baharu mempunyai bilik standard dan lima bilik VIP. Setiap bilik mempunyai bilik air peribadi dengan air panas, sesuatu yang jarang ditemui di Maubisse. Terdapat juga tiga bilik untuk pemandu kenderaan dan pemandu pelancong.

Sara Restaurant menghidangkan masakan tempatan pada harga tempatan (mie goreng kira-kira USD 1.50, makan tengah hari atau makan malam kira-kira USD 5). Rumah tamu ini mempunyai Wi-Fi Starlink, tenaga suria dengan penjana kuasa sandaran, dan dewan acara untuk disewa.

Maubisse terkenal dengan kopi pergunungannya, tempat tinjau di puncak rabung bukit dan pasar Ahad yang berwarna-warni, dan merupakan pangkalan biasa untuk mendaki Gunung Ramelau (Tatamailau), puncak tertinggi Timor-Leste.

Please don’t look at the outside and assume that it is anything other than Amazing on the inside. The rooms are so clean and tidy. The owner is such a lovely woman who will cater to all of your needs. This is such a great place especially for a group booking because there’s so many opportunities for communal spaces. This is the only place I would stay if I was passing through again.

I had a wonderful stay at Sara in Maubisse. The service was excellent—friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, especially the fried rice and Beefi. The room was clean and comfortable, with a breathtaking view from the window. The peaceful and cool atmosphere made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing place with beautiful scenery in Maubisse!

Guest house was clean and comfortable! Downtown Maubiesse, so car, people, and dog noise are going to be there. Restaurant was tasty and staff friendly! Gorgeous views!

Pretty much the only place to stay in Maubisse, but thankfully it is one of the better ones outside of Dili. It has a balcony with good views over the Ainaro landscape, and the rooms are clean and well equipped by Timor-Leste standards. A twin room with a decent breakfast was $30, and meals $6 each. Maubisse makes a great break from the Dili heat, and Sara Guest House was a relaxing spot to spend the weekend

Favorite resto if you transit in Maubisse, the weather is cold, the food is quite delicious. Usually crowded at lunch time, most people eat here when they transit to Suai or other place. There's a coffee shop on the roof top of the resto, with a good ambience.
